Here are some of my favorite tips for getting by:

  • You can get pretty much everywhere in 20 minutes – unless there’s traffic. Always double your time and triple it during rush hour.
  • Those of us who have been around for a while do know how to drive in the snow – and rain, and sunshine, and wind. However, all of these weather conditions have a major impact on traffic in the area.
  • If you don’t have air conditioning in your new place – get it fast! Summer comes upon us quickly and the humidity is killer!
  • There’s nothing better than strolling under the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin in the Spring, and picking apples in Winchester in the fall to enjoy the beauty of the area.
