About Joanne Poesch

JoannJoanne Poesche is a native Northern Virginian with deep family roots in the area. After graduating from George Mason University with degrees in both German and European Studies, Joanne moved to Loudoun in 1997 and began a career in online content and community development.

After more than a decade working with Internet giants including AOL, Away.com and Examiner.com, Joanne decided to pursue her dream of becoming a real estate professional and joined the NOVA Green Team in 2010.

Says a former client, “Efficient, enthusiastic and graceful under the most uncomfortable pressure, Joanne is a cheery little sunbeam in a blah corporate world.” She is often described as passionate, easily approachable, always reliable and hyper-organized – all skills that will benefit you on your journey to finding the perfect home!

An avid traveler, Joanne counts South Africa, Croatia and Iceland among her favorite destinations. She is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and a tireless volunteer for the Girl Scouts of the Nation’s Capital and Golden Retriever Rescue Education and Training (GRREAT).

Joanne is passionate about supporting breast cancer research, education and treatment and chose to take part in the part in the Home for the CureTM program, a RE/MAX initiative, and pledges to make regular donations to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® after helping customers sell a home or find their perfect place.
